Mother Caroline Academy & Education Center Annual Benefit Dinner

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the 2014 Mother Caroline Academy & Education Center Annual Benefit Dinner at the Revere Hotel in Boston. Mother Caroline Academy is an all-girls institution that offers tuition-free private schooling for middle school girls with limited financial means.

The theme of the evening was self-portrait which allowed the students the opportunity to share what each color, texture and pattern in their portraits represented about them. A lot of the girls used their national flag(s) to represent their heritage, while a few others used their favorite colors and hairstyles. Oh, and sequin was not scarce because each girl sparkled with articulation and stage presence beyond the self-portraits!

Julianna, joined me for the evening and we were truly delighted to have had such a wonderful evening alongside such bright young women, gracious hosts and generous donors. Sometimes it's just nice to offer your support incognito as to not take attention away from the cause truly worthy of celebration.
